Hi Everyone,
It's been awhile since we last visited. I have good news and good news!
Agatha, our little black baby girl in the bathroom, was adopted today by a nice couple who saw her on facebook and who are giving her a home as an only kitty. She and her brothers and mom have been with us since the kids were 3 weeks old. Missy, their mom, is a tiny young thing herself who now spends her days in the front room keeping Shadow and Precious in line. Good luck to our tiny girl with the great big heart.
Everyone is just about recovered from the URI debacle. Suki was the last to get it so the last to get over it. But Suki has made some big headway in overcoming her paralyzing fear of other cats and coming out into the front room. This is a big deal for her.
Tarzan has had some horrible intestinal thing which I think I caused by switching the kitten dry food but he is coming out of it with help from the vet, medication and special food. And I did it to try and save money. Oh brother!
I think we will be open to the public again for adoptions starting on Friday and will be keeping our regular 5 day schedule. We need to find homes for the kids as we have 8 more coming into their own who will be needing homes. And several calls from people needing help with cats or finding kittens, etc.
Some of you have inquired and as far as I know, the tissue box kittens are still alive.
We are still getting gifts and donations which is very helpful and needed. Thank you to all who are helping and thinking of the welfare of our kitties.
Best to you all, Susan
